Characteristics
'Herbergii' has an upright growth and can reach a height of up until 3 meters. One of the characteristics of this very hardy cultivar is the elliptical-shaped leaf that has a slight wave at the top. The shiny leaf has a deep, dark green colour.
White blossom in clusters in April-May, followed by black berries.
Applications
Because of the upright growth, 'Herbergii' is very suitable for medium-height hedges and well closed-off sections.
It responds well to pruning, even if pruned back to the bare wood, the plant will sprout without any problems.
If regularly pruned, it will not blossom.
